My son John B. Olson’s surreal Christian fantasy about evil (Shade) was one of the finalists for a 2009 Christie Award. I just found out that it wasn't chosen. I'm really disappointed as that's a real favorite of mine!

A sequel to Shade - Powers - has now been released. Oooo. Another scary, fast-paced book!

John (Olson) and Randy Ingermanson did win a Christie for their co-authored book, Oxygen, a novel about the first manned flight to Mars. I think that was in the year 2000. It's a wonderful book, too. I strongly recommend both of these books.

Announcing a historical novel by Tricia Goyer, another fine Christian writer. It's called, The Swiss Courier.
Gabi Mueller, a young Swiss-American woman working for American spy interests in Switzerland during the latter days of World War II, accepts a do-or-die mission: safely courier a German physicist working on the Nazi atomic bomb to Switzerland.
